The basis of the system is an intelligent central unit, which is integrated into the pool switchboard, usually located in the technology room. Poolmatix independently receives data from intelligent sensors to measure water properties and operating conditions, and uses this data to control the operation of water treatment and heating units (e.g. dosing station, salinator or heat pump). It also controls other pool technologies to enhance user comfort – e.g. lighting, counter-current or gargoyle. The system stores the measured data, evaluates it and uses it to perform advanced diagnostics of the operation, thus preventing potential malfunctions.

The Poolmatix intelligent switchboard is the control centre of the entire system. It completely replaces the conventional pool switchboard. All components of the pool technology are connected to this switchboard. The Poolmatix intelligent switchboard integrates switching and control components. The switchboard is very compact, watertight and can be placed directly in the pool shaft. Mountfield will provide expert installation. The configuration of the switchboard is defined in the iXfield application. Sensors and accessories are equipped with quick connectors for connection to the front of the enclosure. The configuration and settings of the pool can be changed remotely. The switchboard is permanently connected to the internet. The recommended connection method is a mobile network (LTE).
Through the iX manager application, the user sets all desired values and functions at any time and from anywhere, not only in real time, but also as preset values for further use. The user is thus constantly informed about the current status of the pool, including emergency alerts with suggestions for solutions. In addition, the iX field service application for pool technicians (but also available to pool users) offers the possibility of defining the operating schedule of individual devices, maintenance planning or detailed monitoring of the status of all connected devices.

A salinator is a device that helps you keep the water in your pool crystal clear. The dissolved salt in the water is gradually converted into chlorine, which has a purifying function. Salination is one of the most effective ways of disinfecting pool water. A microprocessor-controlled electrolysis system produces natural chlorine from the salt water, which reliably kills bacteria, viruses and algae in the form of hypochlorous acid.
Submersible level sensor (max. level height 1.5 m)
This sensor monitors the water level in the balancing tank and reacts to changes. The system can detect activity in the pool and automatically start circulation. It also enables automatic refilling and notifies the user in the event of the refill malfunction and low water levels.
If the level drops below the critical level, Poolmatix switches off equipment to prevent damage and notifies the user.
