Another groundbreaking technology is the ability to control and constantly check the status of the pump and pool water virtually anytime and anywhere via a mobile app and built-in Wi-Fi module. The heat pump is fitted with a designer, practical and maintenance-free cover in grey. This makes it easy to fit the pump into your pool surroundings concept.

The heat pump enables the heat to be extracted from the air around the pool by means of a cycle of compression and expansion of the heat transfer fluid. The air is propelled by a fan through an evaporator where it transfers its heat to the heat transfer fluid (cooling the air in the process). The heat transfer fluid is then transported by a compressor, which compresses and heats it, to the heat exchanger coils where it transfers its heat to the pool water. From the heat exchanger, the cooled fluid flows to the expansion valve where it is depressurised and rapidly cooled. This cooled fluid flows back into the evaporator where it is heated by the flowing air. The whole process is continuous and monitored by pressure and temperature sensors. By selecting the heat pump mode, the direction of circulation can be reversed and the pool water can be cooled.
