The POOL SANA UV disinfection unit is integrated into the filter circuit between the sand filter system and the inlet nozzles. The physically cleaned water coming from the sand filter system is exposed to a high dose of short-wave UV-C radiation (253.7 nm) in the disinfection unit, which kills almost all bacteria, viruses, and even mold spores.
